Genuine Concern Makes a Difference

Each year multiple teams within Bowen Engineering adopt families for the Holidays.  This allows our less fortunate neighbors the opportunity to provide gifts for their family during otherwise difficult times.

The real story here isn’t our giving of the gifts, although the consistency of our employees’ concern for others throughout the year is remarkable.  The real story here is the effect that your generosity has on the less fortunate and the gratitude (sometimes amazement) the families show in the wake of such generosity.

We recently received letters from one family adopted by Bowen this Christmas.  Their words are simple, and they speak volumes about the positive effects that come from having a genuine concern for others.

“We want you to know that we thank you and appreciate you all for remembering those in need.  We have had a run of bad luck, but it is folks like you that change this world.”
-Mother

“Thank you for helping my family during this low time in our lives.  May God bless you.”
-Father

“Thank you for thinking of my family.  Thank you for saving our Christmas.”
 -Son, age 11

“We love you all for thinking about our family.”
-Daughter, age 10

Thank you for adding this. It is the smallest deeds and efforts that each of us make that have the most profound impact to others. Nobody will ever truly now the impact of a kind deed.
